A Year in Review: Rockfield Media's 2024
2024 has been an incredible year for Rockfield Media. As a creatively led, full-service marketing and advertising agency based in Manchester, we’ve been fortunate to work with a diverse range of clients on a variety of exciting projects. From brand identities to captivating video content, we’ve pushed the boundaries of creativity and delivered exceptional results.
MiRiDER Creative Collaborations
The year kicked off with two exciting collaborations with MiRiDER.
The first is an exciting collaboration between MiRiDER and Sheffield-based artist, Marcus Method. This partnership resulted in a limited edition of six custom folding e-bikes, each dressed with a unique design inspired by Marcus's recent 'Motion' collection. To complement the bikes, each purchase included a signed and numbered framed print of the design.
To capture the essence of this collaboration, we shot high-quality still images showcasing the bikes in various settings, including a visit to Marcus's studio for a video interview. The project was a resounding success, with all six bikes selling out quickly.
Building on our existing relationship with Hope Technology, we also introduced the 'Hope Edition' MiRiDER model. This high-performance bike features premium Hope components in contrasting colours, available in two striking colourways. Over 40 units have been custom-built to date, and the partnership continues to thrive with plans to expand the Hope Edition range to the MiRiDER 20 and MiRiDER 24 models.
To showcase the versatility of the Hope Edition, we captured stunning imagery of the bikes both on off-road trails and in the urban setting of Manchester. These images highlighted the bike's performance and style, making it the perfect choice for both outdoor enthusiasts and city commuters.
This collaborative project not only delivered two exceptional products but also benefited all parties involved, both financially and in terms of brand recognition.
Launching the Disklok Diamond Edition
As spring approached, we turned our attention to a groundbreaking product: the world's first Sold Secure Diamond level car steering wheel lock from Disklok. Following the rebranding of Disklok in 2023, we were excited to introduce this innovative security solution.
To showcase the Diamond Edition, we created a comprehensive suite of marketing materials, including striking visuals and informative videos. The video content highlighted the ease of installation and removal, as well as the impressive durability of the Diamonite material. This unique material is designed to withstand the force of angle grinders, providing unparalleled protection for vehicles.
The launch of the Diamond Edition has been a resounding success, with sales exceeding expectations. Production is in full swing to meet the high demand for this cutting-edge security product.
The 2024 UK Dragon Boat Festival
For the second consecutive year, we were thrilled to partner with the Chinese community and Salford City Council to promote and execute the spectacular UK Dragon Boat Festival held in Salford Quays.
Our team played a pivotal role in elevating the event's visibility across Greater Manchester. We developed a strong brand identity and created a range of marketing materials to generate excitement and encourage participation. Additionally, we actively managed team entries and significantly expanded the event's social media reach through engaging content.
During the festival weekend, our dedicated team captured hours of captivating video footage and hundreds of stunning still images to document the vibrant atmosphere and thrilling races. This content will be used to promote the 2025 event and continue to build anticipation for this cultural celebration.

Pentraeth Isuzu D-Max Off-Road Experience
As the summer season unfolded, we embarked on an exhilarating off-road adventure in the stunning Snowdonia region of North Wales. Partnering with our long-standing client, Pentraeth Group, we organised an exclusive driving experience featuring the impressive Isuzu D-Max range.
Twenty-four guests, divided into two sessions, were invited to the Bala 4x4 Centre to test the capabilities of these powerful pick-up trucks under expert guidance. With the sun shining and the breathtaking backdrop of Snowdonia mountains, the event was a resounding success.
The participants thoroughly enjoyed the thrilling off-road experience and provided overwhelmingly positive feedback. As a result, plans are already in motion for a similar event in 2025.
This unforgettable experience showcased the rugged performance and versatility of the Isuzu D-Max, leaving a lasting impression on all who participated.
The Launch of MiRiDER 24 and MiRiDER 20
As 2024 unfolded, MiRiDER continued to innovate and expand its product range.
The introduction of the MiRiDER 24 marked a significant milestone, offering a compact yet powerful e-bike capable of tackling longer journeys. With its larger battery, wheels, and luggage capacity, the MiRiDER 24 is the ideal companion for motorhome enthusiasts, easily fitting onto a rear cycle rack or within a motorhome garage.
To showcase the versatility of the MiRiDER 24, our team ventured across the North West to capture stunning visuals and engaging videos. These assets played a crucial role in the successful launch and ongoing promotion of this innovative model.
Following the success of the MiRiDER 24, MiRiDER introduced the MiRiDER 20, completing its comprehensive range of folding e-bikes. This stylish and compact model offers a larger wheel size while retaining the convenience of easy storage. Our team once again took to the streets to capture captivating imagery and video content to support the launch and ongoing marketing efforts.
To effectively position each model within the market, we created a clear and concise product description for the MiRiDER family. This strategic approach has contributed to the strong sales performance of all three models, with deliveries of the MiRiDER 20 underway.

A New Chapter for Corkills Volkswagen
As our industry continues to evolve, we recognise the importance of staying ahead of the curve and embracing emerging trends. In response to this, we were excited to assist one of our automotive clients, Corkills Volkswagen, in leveraging the power of TikTok.
To kickstart their TikTok journey, we created a humorous short video showcasing the remote-opening electric tailgate feature of the new Volkswagen Tiguan. The video captured the fun and engaging personalities of the Corkills Volkswagen team, resonating with a younger audience.
Within just an hour of posting, the video garnered an impressive 4,000 views. This number skyrocketed to 100,000 views within six hours, and today, it's well on its way to reaching a million views. This remarkable success has exposed the Corkills Volkswagen brand to a new generation of potential customers, while also highlighting the company's vibrant and dynamic culture.
While we approach TikTok with caution, using the platform strategically, we believe it has the potential to be a valuable addition to the overall social media mix. By creating engaging and relevant content, we can continue to connect with new audiences and drive brand awareness.

The World of Dressage
As autumn approached, our team ventured into a different realm, trading car photography for equine elegance. Our Creative Director was invited to a prestigious dressage business in Cumbria to capture the essence of the facility and the passion of its team.
The goal was to create a collection of images that would resonate with Melanie Turner's target audience, showcasing the beauty of the horses and the dedication of the staff. Our photographer meticulously captured the stunning surroundings, the meticulous care given to the horses, and the grace and power of the riders.
The final images were a testament to the team's skill and creativity, exceeding Melanie Turner's expectations. This project not only expanded our portfolio but also demonstrated our versatility as a creative agency.

Automotive Storytelling: Video Production and Content Creation

For many years, Rockfield Media has been proud to support grassroots BMX racing through our involvement with Bruntwood Park BMX Club. This commitment has led to meaningful relationships with talented athletes, including the exceptional Ross Cullen.
Ross, a dedicated BMX rider from Preston, has represented Great Britain at the Tokyo and Paris Olympic Games as the Male Reserve Rider. With his sights set on the 2028 LA Olympics, Ross is determined to lead the charge and achieve a coveted Olympic medal.
